Siadwell Rhys was once a member of sixties British superhero team Cloud 9, who operated under the name RED DRAGON. When they disbanded due to illness and loss of powers, Siadwell returned to his home village in Wales, where his heavy drinking caught up with him. To help with his battle with Masterman, Zenith got Red Dragon cleaned up — but Siadwell did not survive in the fight against the enemy...
The far future. The vast collection of beings upon multiple planetary systems discovered by humanity make up the Federation, and such an immense group of races and civilisations requires an enormous level of control. The Ankorites have taken it upon themselves to rule the Federation, using the drug Kali’s Dust to stimulate Visions, and employing footsoldiers the Subjugators for more physical oppression... The Orrery is a fully functional, life-size clockwork solar system. A clutch of planets, moons and asteroids orbit a vast, life-giving BRASS SUN via immense metal spars, its origin and purpose long since forgotten. The once unified collection of worlds have regressed into eccentric fiefdoms and petty baronies. One such planet, Hind Leg, is ruled by religious dogma – its leaders believe the Cog is Creation, and any suggestion that the sun is slowing is treated as heresy. But for many, there’s no escaping the truth that worlds are dying and something needs to be done...
Nu Earth, site of a galactic war between the Norts and the Southers, where the atmosphere has been rendered poisonous. So the Southers created the Genetic Infantrymen, immune to the pollutants — G.I.s like ROGUE TROOPER, the last of his kind. Together with biochip buddies Helm, Gunnar and Bagman, the digitised souls of his dead comrades, he searches for the traitor that betrayed the clone-soldiers...
