Judge Dredd / Judgement Days (part 1)

Mega-City One, 2130 AD. This vast urban nightmare on the east coast of post-apocalyptic North America is home to 400 million citizens, every one a potential criminal. With lawlessness rife, only the Judges can prevent total anarchy. These future lawmen are judge, jury and executioner. Toughest of them all is Judge Dredd - he is the law!

Rogue Trooper / Mortal Remains (part 1)

Nu Earth, one planet in a galaxywide war between the Southers and the Norts. Bitterly fought over because of its proximity to a black hole, chemical weapons used by both sides have poisoned the air. Created by the Southers to turn the tide of the conflict, Genetic Infantrymen are clones capable of breathing on the surface unaided. One such G.I. is ROGUE TROOPER, who went AWOL after the deaths of his comrades...

Survival Geeks / House of the Dead (part 1)

Somewhere in the outer limits of time and space, plunging through the planes of reality, is what looks from the outside like a regular suburban two-up two-down, but it is in fact powered by misfiring transdimensional technology. Inside live sci-fi obsessives Clive, Rufus and Simon, plus new housemate Sam, who hasn’t taken kindly to being trapped inside a malfunctioning craft with a bunch of stoners and action-figure collectors...

The Mean Arena / Sudden Death (part 1)

Future sport played out across the cities of Britain.

Sinister Dexter / Zed Zone (part 1)

The swollen city of Downlode lies sprawled across the heart of future Europe like a hit-and-run victim. Here, life is cheap - if you want someone whacked, you can't buy better bullet monkeys than Finnigan SINISTER and Ramone DEXTER, the city's primo hitmen. Inspired by John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction.
Artist Jason Brashill declined the chance to co-create Sinister Dexter but he did paint the cover image to promote the characters' first appearance in Prog 981. Sinister is Latin for left, while Dexter is Latin for right.

Ampney Crucis Investigates / Setting Sons (part 1)

England, 1930. Lord AMPNEY CRUCIS was one of the bright young hopes of his generation but then came the Great War, and witnessing an otherworldly sight drove him temporarily insane. Following his recovery, he found himself sensitive to the entities that exist outside of everyday reality...

Robo-Hunter / Z-INF (part 1)

Sam Slade tracks down missing meks or maniac cyborgs - with his idiot understudy Hoagy and his robotic cigar Stogie, he's Brit-Cit's finest Robo-Hunter and is never far from trouble!

Strontium Dog / In the (Dead) Doghouse (part 1)

Late 22nd century. After the Atomic Wars of 2150, many survivors were warped by the Strontium 90 fallout. These 'mutants' became a vicitmised underclass, and the only job open to them was bounty hunting. One such STRONTIUM DOG is Johnny Alpha, partnered with his Viking buddy Wulf Sternhammer.
