Late 22nd century. After the Atomic Wars of 2150, many survivors were warped by the Strontium 90 fallout. These 'mutants' became a vicitmised underclass, and the only job open to them was bounty hunting. One such STRONTIUM DOG is Johnny Alpha, partnered with his Viking buddy Wulf Sternhammer.
Mega-City One, 2130 AD. This vast urban nightmare on the east coast of post-apocalyptic North America is home to 400 million citizens, every one a potential criminal. With lawlessness rife, only the Judges can prevent total anarchy. These future lawmen are judge, jury and executioner. Toughest of them all is Judge Dredd - he is the law!
During WWII, Q Department was formed within the Ministry of Defence to combat Nazi warfare, but in the 21st century its funding is withdrawn. Enter millionaire rock star Ethan Kostabi, who has bought up its employees and with some freelance ghosthunters has constructed a brand new outfit - CABALLISTICS, INC. - to investigate paranormal phenomena...
Tir Nan Og- the Land of the Young, deep in Celtic myth and legend. After years of wandering as an outcast together with his untrustworthy companion Ukko, barbarian warrior SLÁINE united the tribes of the Earth Goddess and became the first High King of Ireland. Once his seven-year rule was over, he was ritually executed, and he travelled through time, defending the Goddess in other eras. But Ireland is under threat from the Formorian sea demons, and Sláine has returned to his people to help them repel the invading forces. Now, he seeks his missing son Kai in Albion...
The near future. Human society has all but been destroyed, with ragtag bands of survivors existing amongst the ruins and trying to escape the attention of the Gods and their Followers. The Gods came to Earth several years ago, offering to help makind with their incredible powers, and for a time it seemed the planet had its own protectors - but the Gods wanted humanity to bow down before them and accept them as their rulers. Those that refused are now fighting a guerrilla war against the superbeings - but a person's life expectancy in such a battle is just ten seconds...
