Earth, 2086, and mankind is threatened with extinction by a virulent outbreak of Ebola. Humanity's only hope lies with the enormous and mysterious creatures known as the Kohenyu, who exist in another dimension and only occasionally cross over into realspace - it is thought an antidote can be cultured from chemicals extracted from the beasts' brains. A science team has been despatched on desperate mission to find the cure - but a hunting expedition from twenty years ago is about to come back from the dead...
