Before the Judges took complete control of the metropolis, there were two strands of law enforcement – regular uniformed cops did much of the day-to-day policing, while the helmeted Judges were called upon to pass judgement on certain criminals, their vested powers giving them the ability to dispense on-the-spot sentences...
Nu Earth, site of a galactic war between the Norts and the Southers, where use of chemical weapons has rendered the atmosphere toxic. So the Southers created the Genetic Infantrymen, bred to be immune to the planet’s lethal cocktail of pollutants — G.I.s like ROGUE TROOPER, the last of his kind.
Colonial Marshal Metta Lawson is appointed to the frontier township of Badrock, and immediately has her work cut out for her bringing order to the colony, where trouble comes in many forms, from droid to mutant to uplift. Will she be able to maintain order where other lawmen have failed?
USA, 2035 AD. The new Justice Department is still in its early years, with Judges working alongside the police, military and the government, though Fargo’s people are slowly taking over. It’s proving an explosive transition, with many citizens – and more than a few cops – unhappy with these helmeted officers taking to the streets...
